After many,many years away from teaching in SLIS, I'm returning to the classroom and a course in Internatonal Librarianship is the first item on my teaching agenda. I was glad to find this website and hope that I can learn from others who are participating and after a while, I can contribute as well!

I'm pleased to see the establishment of this community. I consider international and comparative librarianship to be my main field of current interest and am (slowly!) writing a general text on the subject. You can see a draft of the first chapter on my website, http://peterlor.com. More chapters will follow. The website is where I also post other material on the subject as well as other presentations I have done in the last year or two.
